Chinese original titles of period dramas are often changed in Japan. For example, 大明风华 became 大明皇妃, 清平乐≫孤城閉, 太平公主秘史≫ニ人の王女（two princesses）, 母儀天下≫クイーンズ、長安の乱（Queens, the battle of chángān ）.... Especially the last one is over from my understanding. 竹内亮导演 said Japanese titles of Chinese 古偶 don't look stylish, I absolutely agree. 日语叫"ダサい". I can't stop laughing to watch his short video on rednote and youtube. Japanese broadcasting companies shoud think what title they name more carefully. Only 清平乐/孤城閉 was set in the first title when it aired in Japan.
